Ykopil Capsule
YKOPIL capsule contains extract of Nagkesar (Mesua ferrea), Indrajav (Holarrhena antidysentrica), Daruharidra (Berberis aristate), Triphla and Ajmoda (Apium leptophyllum) which are processed in decoction of Sunth (Zinziber officinalis), Marica (Piper nigrum) and Indrajav (Holarrhena antidysentrica) to give faster and safer relief in piles.
Dose : 2 capsules 2 times a day with buttermilk
Mesua ferrea (Nagkesar)
Nagkesar has very good antibacterial activity.
Nagkesar contains calophyllolide which is effective in reducing the increased capillary permeability. The xanthones present in the drug have significant anti-inflammatory activity.
Holarrhena antidysentrica (Indrajav)
- It contains conessine as a chief active constituent that is highly active against Entamoeba histolytica and other micro organisms.
- It is one of the most effective Ayurvedic drugs for treating Piles. It also helps in stopping pain & itching.
Berberis aristata (Daruharidra)
Berberis contains berberine as a chief chemical constituent
Traditionally Berberis is used in diarrhea, piles and watery solution of berberis is used for washing piles
Berberis has strong reductive activity on capillary permeability so it helps in reducing bleeding from the piles.
Triphla
- It contains extract of fruits of Amla, Baheda and Hardae.
- Tannins are present as an active element. They have laxative property and used to treat habitual constipation. Tannins are also astringent means they precipitates proteins exposed due to ulceration.
- All the ingredients of Trifla have very good antibacterial activity on a number of microorganisms.
Ajmoda (Apium leptophyllum)
- The fruits are used in folk medicine for the treatment of flatulence, dyspepsia, diarrhea etc and is very useful in digestion.
- It contains various coumarins, flavonoids and 8-hydroxy cuminic acid as an active constituent.
